World Gratitude Day – Thankyouthankyouthankyou

In the glory of the World Gratitude Day (September 21th) and this amazing action, I have decided to express my gratitude to Gypsy tribe and Mirjana aka Rod, one of my favorite people in the world. I have made Greek Panzanella, slightly adapted from here and Lemon Meringue pie, recipe taken from my dear friend Thelma or Mokosha, that writes this lovely blog

However, Mirjana had her birthday on 12th of September and I wanted to make her a surprise with the rest of our tribe. It was quite a surprise, a whole week passed after her birthday, but it is never too late for the feast, right?

We were missing my sister, former Miss Fatty, Fatty. She is thin now and has so much more important stuff to do, chasing her two boys around. Being a Gypsy woman is not an easy thing, no, no!

Besides of food, wine, birthday I just wanted to say this:

My dear Gypsy tribe, THANK YOU for many years of:

-laughing
-crying
-laughing again
-supporting my mindless ideas
-sharing stories, clothes, meals, beds, sleeping bags, shoes, dreams and visions
-partying
-running wild
-dancing
-cooking
-and eating
-(don’t forget) drinking as well
-traveling
-making strategies
-making plan B when strategies fail
-spying
-celebrating
-failing
-and succeeding
-loving
-falling in love
-screaming
-singing like nobody hears
-believing in fairy tales
-and making up our own

Here are some photos of us in the south of Portugal, doing all of the listed (and more):

Our feast lasted 6 hours.

Panzanella is gone.

Pie is gone.

A lot of wine has mysteriously disappeared.

We were screaming like crazy.

And talking at the same time.

Mirjana has got a new pair of earrings and massage.

And endless amount of joy and gratitude.

I love reunions. ❤ ❤ ❤

P. S. Say Thankyouthankyouthankyou. Every day! Make somebody smile. Join the action.
